Marc Bolan, nom artístic de Marc Feld (Londres, 30 de setembre de 1947 - Londres, 16 de setembre de 1977), fou un cantant anglés i una de les figures més populars del glam rock de la década de 1970. Fou el líder del grup T. Rex. El fals cognom "Bolan" és una contracció del nom del seu admirat Bob Dylan (Bo-lan).
Seria mutilat radicalment quan, per un fatal accident d'automòvil conduït per Gloria Jones, povocà la seua mort el 16 de setembre de 1977. Tenia 29 anys i la seua mort va convertir Marc Bolan en màrtir del rock i figura de cult per als seus nombrosos fans, que s'amplien amb el temps.
